Child Care Worker
The Child Care Worker provides exceptional care of children ages 3 months to 6 years of age while parents or guardians are at the Peninsula Community Center. This role is primarily focused on providing a safe and encouraging environment for parents as they drop-off and pick up their child as well as for the children throughout their visit to Child Care. This position requires that the candidate be 18 years or older.
Member Care Staff
Under the direct supervision of the Member Care Supervisor, the Member Care Staff job is to provide exceptional service to the members of the Peninsula Community Center. This role is primarily focused on creating a safe, enriching, and memorable experience for every Center member, guest, and staff so they want to return the same week with a friend.
Fitness (Group Exercise) Instructors and Personal Trainers
Fitness Instructors and Personal Trainers provide group and private fitness instruction, monitor and educate Center members and staff on fitness and safety, and maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all of our class participants. With over 50 classes weekly our Group Exercise program covers multiple disciplines, including instruction in Group Power, Spin, Yoga, Pilates, Bootcamp, Circuit training, and Aqua.
Facilities Maintenance Staff
The Facilities Maintenance Staff role provides exceptional facilities (maintenance, janitorial, and groundskeeping) service to the Peninsula Community Center. This role is primarily focused on providing the setting for a safe, enriching, and memorable experience for every Center member, guest, and staff so they want to return to the Center and bring a friend.
Associate Tennis Pro
An Associate Tennis Pro will support the PCC Tennis Program Leader in building and strengthen the Center’s ability to deliver the best value of tennis for a family-oriented swim, fitness, and tennis community. Please contact [email protected] for more information.

PCCA Youth Swim Team Coach

We are currently hiring hourly part-time employees to Referee or Game Commission for our Upward Basketball season. The minimum age requirement for these hourly jobs is 14 years old. Please fill out our online application if you are interested and we will be in contact with you.
Upward basketball is one of our youth ministries at the Center servicing children in grades K-4th grade. The season runs for 8 weeks (January 21st – March 18th).
PCCA Swim Coach: Fall Season 2017
Peninsula Community Center Aquatics (PCCA) Swim Team in Redwood City is looking for someone passionate about swimming and working with kids for our twelve-week fall program.
Must have knowledge of stroke development and technique. Previous or current Swim Team experience is preferred. The commitment can be 2 or 4 days/week. Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs, 3:30-7:00 pm or both.
- Serve as an age group coach on weekday afternoons directing the operations of the Color and Select Team groups (entry level, competitive swimmers, ages 5-12) at PCC.
- Develop practice plans for each group with Develop practice plans for each group with an emphasis on stroke development, race strategies, and conditioning.
In addition teaching private lessons is also a possibility if you are coaching with PCCA.
