Use the power of a group to reach your running goals. Train with Coach Dena Evans with weekly quality sessions and guidance on how to create endurance and balance in your running. We meet Thursdays at 9am for 3-4 flexible pace miles, usually including light intervals, hills, or fartlek. All abilities are welcome.

Meet the Instructor

Dena Evans

Dena Evans is a sixteen year resident of Redwood City, along with her husband, Marlon, and two daughters who attend Woodside High. She has led our run club for several years and looks forward to welcoming you to the group!

An experienced marathoner and former collegiate soccer player and middle distance athlete, Dena is currently Director of the Strava Track Club, has served on the Team USA coaching staff for six international competitions, including the 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships and the 2017 IAAF World Cross Country Championships, and was the 2003 NCAA Women’s Cross Country Coach of the Year while at Stanford.

From March 28 – May 2, join our Running Group crew as we gear up for the Global 6K for Water event, the family-friendly fun run/walk that provides a lifetime of clean water to a person in need.
