Weekly Camps

Sessions Details

Get ready for another summer at the Center! This summer we have a fun camp planned for kids entering 1st through 5th grade hosted by our PE+ team. Each week will have a unique theme with activities like arts and crafts, games, and sports that kids of all interests can play. 
 

Camp will be held here at the Center and campers will get to participate in much of what we have to offer like swimming, pickleball, basketball, lawn & gym games and so much more.

The weekly camp sessions will run Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm during the following weeks: June 16, June 23, July 7, July 14, July 21, and July 28.

Each of our six weeks will have a unique theme that campers of all interests can enjoy.

Weekly Themes

  • June 16 - 20: Super Hero Week - Calling all caped crusaders for action-packed adventures!

  • June 23 - 27: Sports Around the World Week - Explore global games and athletic challenges.

  • July 7 - 11: Olympics Week - Compete in fun and friendly games inspired by the Olympic spirit.

  • July 14 - 18: American Ninja Warrior Week - Test agility and strength with obstacle courses and exciting challenges.

  • July 21 - 25: Water Week - Splish, splash, and dive into endless aquatic fun!

  • July 28 - Aug 1: Carnival Week - Experience the thrill of carnival-style games, prizes, and surprises!

Our student to coach ratio of 12-1 ensures that your child will have a great small group experience moving through different activities each day.

Daily Schedule

​Check-In

8:30 - 9:30am

Parents will check kids in for the day! We are located at 3623 Jefferson Ave. Redwood City, CA 94061

 

Homeroom Huddle

9:30 - 10:00am

Our campers will have homeroom groups and spaces according to age where campers will be able to store belongings and each morning campers and counselors will participate in ice-breaker games, group fun, and welcome time to build connections. This will be a time for kids to get to know one another and their camp counselor each day!  

 

Game Circuits - Playground, Tennis Courts, Homeroom

10am - 12:30pm

During this time, we aim to work on teamwork, creativity and sportsmanship while also adding a little light competition. This will be an excellent opportunity for learning basic sports fundamentals/skills, engaging in camp crafts and having a variety of activities to do as we rotate through different sports/game circuits and offer a short morning snack time.

 

Recreational Swimming Time 

12:30 - 2:00pm

We will swim everyday! During that time, half of the campers will be swimming, while the other half has their lunch. Additionally, we will have swim lessons available at an additional cost to families who want to have their children participate in the PCC’s swim lessons at 12:30pm. Theme of the Week Activity Time

2:15 - 3:30pm

We will have specific games and activities that align with our theme each day. We have a different set of games and crafts designed for each theme weekly!

 

Afternoon Snack and Quiet Activity Time

3:30 - 4:00pm 

Snack? Yes, please! Morning and afternoon snack are provided.

 

Choice Activity Time

4:00 - 4:30pm
During this time, the kids will have the opportunity to choose each day between some type of strategic activity (human tic-tac-toe, connect 4, other strategic board games or an active game in our basketball gym. 

 

Group Health Huddle/Pickup Time

4:30 - 5:30pm
End of the day, we will gather all the kids and have them do a cool down in our gym with some sort of yoga, static stretch and a health talk to encourage fitness and hopefully a lifetime of movement!

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I am late to pick up my child?

At PCC Summer camp, we understand that unexpected delays can happen. However, to ensure the safety and well-being of our campers and staff, we have established the following Late Pick-Up Policy for any child picked up after 5:30pm. Late Fees: Late fees will be additionally billed to you. Procedure for Late Pick-Up: Contacting Guardians: If a child is not picked up by 5:35 PM, we will attempt to contact the parent/guardian and emergency contacts listed on the camper’s registration form. Supervision: Campers will remain supervised by staff in a designated waiting area, we will never leave your child unattended to ensure safety until an authorized guardian arrives. If you anticipate being late, please call the front desk at 650-364-6272 as soon as possible. Parents/guardians must sign a late pick-up acknowledgment form when arriving after 5:30 PM. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a smooth and safe experience for all campers!

What if my child is sick?

Wellness/Sick Child Policy ​Please do not bring your child to Summer Camp if they… -have had a fever (100.4℉/38℃) within the last 24 hours -have had vomiting or diarrhea within the last 24 hours -have had discharge from their nose that is either yellow or green (may indicate infection)* -have a loose or a productive cough or is sneezing or coughing frequently -have eyes that are red and -------have any type of discharge -have any known infection and are not on an antibiotic -have any open sores or wounds that are not bandaged or covered with a scab appear to be coming down with an infectious disease (especially if you know they have been exposed to one)** *If they have a runny nose or sniffles with white or clear discharge, this may be the beginning of a cold and they should not attend Summer Camp. If your child has an allergy or the sniffles are white or clear at the end of a cold, they may attend Summer Camp. **Please notify the Center if your child has been exposed to any communicable disease. What is the Refund Policy?

Refund policy: Email requests to noahv@wearepcc.com must be received 14 or more days prior to the first day of the registered camp session for a full refund. A 50% fee will be deducted from any refund requested thirteen days or less prior to the beginning of the camp. No refund will be made once the camp has started. Refunds will not be granted for absences, dismissal or voluntary withdrawal from the camp or for changes to the camp schedule deemed necessary by PE+ staff. No makeup days will be granted.
